Who should a beginner pick in UFC 6?

Someone whose basic jab, cross, low kick, or simple shot you can already see in the gym. Leave spinning elbows for later.

Should I pick the highest overall?

No. Overall does not fix a style mismatch. Perks and animations matter more than the number.
